RN CLINICAL COORDINATOR-FT Job at Millinocket Regional Hospital
Millinocket Regional Hospital has an immediate opening for a Full Time RN Clinical Coordinator.
Qualifications: Must hold an active Registered Nurse license in the State of Maine. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Three to five years of acute care experience preferred. Experience in the health care field, knowledge and understanding of physician office principles and practices. Demonstrated leadership ability required. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required. Ability to supervise and evaluate office staff daily.
Main Function: To oversee the daily operations of the clinical portion of the practice, assisting staff with patient care when needed. To triage sick calls and complex follow up in patient care. To assist with communications of abnormal results and education to the patients per provider discretion. To assist with high-risk Annual Well Visits and providing education and support of the high-risk patients. Must take lead role in PCMH certification within the next 12 months. Must assist RN Care Manager with transition of care when she is unavailable. Maintain and update policies and procedures in conjunction with clinical changes. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required. Demonstrates leadership qualities. Knowledge and experience with regulatory requirements of the Rural Health Clinic. Maintain equipment and supplies as needed. Manage patient relations and promote positive staff/physician relations. Provide staff and patients with educational in services/materials relating to medication use, new equipment, and patient lab values.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Full Time Position, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. 8:00am to 4:30pm.
