Job Title: RN Nursing Supervisor (Skilled Rehabilitation)
Location: Nursing Home
Summary:
The RN Nursing Supervisor is responsible for managing the nursing staff in a skilled rehabilitation unit within a nursing home. This includes hiring, training, and evaluating nurses and nursing assistants, as well as ensuring that patient care is delivered according to established standards and protocols. The RN Nursing Supervisor works closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients and to coordinate care across different healthcare settings.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff
- Create and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Manage budgets and resources
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
- Ensure that patient care is delivered according to established standards and protocols
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Identify and address any issues or concerns related to patient care or staffing
- Participate in continuous quality improvement efforts
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a skilled rehabilitation setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Thorough understanding of nursing practices and protocols
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.13 - $74.61 per hour
