Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds – 19 operating rooms
• Number of Staff – 63 total staff
• Type of staff: Director, Charge RN, Open Heart, OR RN, surgeons, anesthesiologists, CNA’s, LPN’sDay Shift – Director, 13 teams total, 15 RN’s and 15 techs

Night Shift – Same as long as volume, mostly on-call, they work up on 9:30p

• Patient Ratios – 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, varies depending on volume
• Type of equipment – x-rays, preoperative, anesthesiologist, lab, electrocardiography, EKG
• EMR – Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• ACLS, BLS, 2 years current experience in acute OR setting, ortho, spine and joint replacement experience
• Knee and Hip replacement experience

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• PALS, CNOR any Charge experience
• RN is responsible for the observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation of care of all patients

• Joint replacement, ENT, Ortho, Spine, Urology
• Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic Surgery and Plastic Surgery

Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.

• Scrub Color - OR – Ceil Blue Scrubs are required and facility does not provide them
