Job Description:
Seeking a Registered Nurse to serve Essentia's home health and hospice clients in the Fosston, MN area. This nurse works 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with one weekday off. Requires a rotating on call schedule for hospice that includes weekends, and a rotating holiday schedule is also required. This position will be filled by a nurse with experience and knowledgeability who can think critically and has good time management skills. Must be able to work well with a team, delegate cares to a home health aide, and be a patient advocate. This RN is responsible to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, supervise and coordinate the home care and hospice care (if applicable at location) of patients in accordance with professional standards of nursing and policies and procedures of Essentia Health. Provides direct patient care to patients requiring care for medical, diagnostic and emergency conditions.

Education as required for licensure.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Current RN nursing licensure in the state of MN.

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire.

Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as verified through appropriate licensing agency.

Proof of current motor vehicle insurance.

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
