We are seeking Labor and Delivery RN’s for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary:

• Serve as a primary coordinator of Maternal Services for well-coordinated patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the Registered Nurse (RN)
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team
• Teach patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
• Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of maternal/newborn patients
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights/weekends/holidays

Qualifications:

• Requires a minimum of Associate of Science Degree, Nursing
• We provide NRP, BLS, PALS, and ACLS if not already held
• Must have an unencumbered nursing license to practice professionally in the State of Wyoming
• Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patient, visitor, physicians, and other employees
• Outside department assist with patient care is expected
