Duties + Responsibilities
- Maintaining/repairing automated robotic systems and software that are used to increase production and accuracy within the business
- Serve as technical support for the robotic systems that are in place
- Perform necessary tests and quality control
- Complete necessary documentation
- Troubleshoot flaws in robotic process. Able to replace necessary components
- Monitor robotic system to ensure they are functioning appropriately
- Provide daily hands-on support
- Constantly learning and staying current on the latest design to improve the efficiency of the systems
- Manage tasks with minimal supervision
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a robotic engineer or similar experience
- Computer experience (programming) required
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Problem solving ability
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of CAD software
- Ability to evaluate integrated systems
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Mechanical experience
- Electrical experience
- Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Degree in engineering or similar field required
