Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shifts. Have a three day weekend every week!

Our Route Sales/Delivery Drivers are key team members of our Company. We have an immediate opening for a responsible, organized individual to join our route salesman team. The Route Driver will be responsible for providing route sales and delivery services to national and local restaurants, food service and grocery customers in the surrounding area.

This is 4 day per week, 10 hour shift route, enjoy 3 day weekends every week!

Successful Candidates Will Possess:

• Must have proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• A strong sense of customer service and an attitude that lets the customer know they are a #1 priority.
• The ability to effectively interact with others, be a team player, and solve conflict.
• Excellent communication skills to develop and build strong relationships with our customers.
• A safety focused mindset when executing a physical work day.
• The ability to repeatedly load, unload, lift and carry light deliveries.
• Previous route sales/customer service experience.
• Ability to run overnight routes.
• Restaurant or food sales experience.
• Previous cold calling experience to prospective customers is helpful.
• A verifiable Motor Vehicle Record history of good driving.
• The ability to safely operate a Company vehicle, standard transmission step van and/or box truck.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load truck by invoice to assure all customer cutlery boxes and program items (can openers, slicer blades, etc.) are available for delivery.
• Deliver all stops assigned each day - 100% delivery.
• Utilize handheld devices for capturing all delivery information.
• Seek new business opportunities to expand route through product sales and program services.
• Develop a relationship with each customer; get to know managers, chefs, owners, etc..
• Maintain correct inventory for all accounts.
• Replace boxes, customer labels and inventory labels as needed and applicable.
• Utilize safe driving techniques in operating company vehicles.
• Maintain Cozzini provided equipment in good working order.
• Adhere to the various policies outlined in Cozzini’s Employee Handbook and Fleet Safety Program.
• Other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
