Job Title: Royalty Accounting Analyst
A little bit about our team:
The Finance Transformation team is a group of professionals across the WMG organization brought together to re-imagine our processes and systems to establish better ways of working that will drive WMG’s growth and business aspirations.
Your role:
This position will be assisting the record to report royalty accounting team with reviewing and facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT) and will also assist with gathering and compiling royalty account balances to be migrated into our new ERP system.
Here you’ll get to:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather and compile royalty account balances for migration.
- Support the global business as needed including trouble shooting issues as they arise.
- Review documentation (e.g. variance analysis) prepared by the business for UAT sign-off.
- Attend weekly meetings with the SMEs to track UAT progress and follow up with the business to ensure timely UAT sign-off.
- Assistance with ad hoc requests when required.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years working in finance, accounting or data analytics
- Understanding of accounting principles and concepts
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A self-motivated approach to proactively driving outcomes
- Organized and detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment involving many team members and stakeholders
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with leadership and SMEs from various business units

- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, or related BI tools

$50,000 to $70,000 Annually
Job Posting Ranges are included for all New York and California job postings and 100% remote roles where talent can be located in NYC and CA. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
