Communication Technology Services (CTS) is one of the largest integrators and managed service providers for enterprise cellular networks in the U.S., specializing in the design, installation and support of Distributed Antenna System (DAS), Small Cell, and 4G/5G Private Wireless Networks for Enterprise.


We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee CTS’ Health & Safety, Vehicle Fleet and Accident Reporting Programs. This position reports directly to the CFO & works collaboratively with CTS’ Operations Team to manage & grow CTS’ Health & Safety Program with the ultimate objective to continuously improve the ‘Culture of Safety’ at CTS. Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact with Broker, Insurance Company, Customers, Employees and Subcontractors for all Safety related issues.
  • Develops and implements workplace safety policies & procedures in accordance with OSHA and CAL-OSHA standards to include CTS Health & Safety Program.
  • Participates in CTS’ Safety Committees
  • Safety Training for employees and new hires
  • Conducts Site Safety Audits.
  • Oversee Accident Reporting (Workers Compensation/ Vehicles/ Liability)
  • Ensure annual OSHA 300/300A logs are completed and work closely with our insurance Company to monitor EMR and state specific MODS
  • Oversee Fleet Management (150+ vehicles)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent knowledge of OSHA standards and federal safety legislation
  • Familiarity with writing health & safety polices & procedures
  • Working knowledge of safety management software.
  • Strong communication & teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required; equivalent work experience will be considered
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Safety Manager.
  • 5-10+ years of related experience in construction.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
