The
Safety Manager
in Richardson, TX (Dallas, TX) supports specific construction project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, while enhancing the overall safety cutlure.
- Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
- Conduct daily safety meetings
- Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
- Daily safety audits and inspections
- Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
- Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
Required:
- Minimum 7+ years of safety oversight working on complex electrical builds such as data centers or other mission critical construction projects at the general contractor level
- Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards with an emphasis on electrical safety
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- OSHA certifications and training in the area of construction safety
- Proficient Microsoft Office computer skills

Preferred:
- Experience working at an owners representative level
- Degree in a safety related field
- NFPA 70e
- Board Certified Safety Professional (BCSP) designation
