The Sentinel-Record is seeking a highly motivated sales/marketing representative. This position is responsible for selling digital and print marketing and advertising solutions for the Sentinel-Record media company that has been in business since 1877. A heavy focus will be new business development. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment where performance is measured, relationships matter, and tenacity is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs, budget, and develop strategies to increase business ROI.
  • Develop and grow a quality pipeline of new potential clients through on-going networking, cold calling, and relationship building.
  • Maintain consultative relationships with clients to ensure that they are maximizing the value of products and services.
  • Track sales activity through daily reporting.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years outside sales experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Aptitude for negotiation and persuasion.
  • High motivation, determination, and target orientation.
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team.
  • Strategic thinking that produces results.
  • Ability to create and deliver client presentations.
  • Must provide your own immediate, dependable transportation (mileage reimbursable).
  • Candidates must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Candidates must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Safety-Sensitive position pursuant to Act 593 of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment.
  • This is NOT A REMOTE POSITION. Job is performed in Garland County, Arkansas. Successful candidate must work from our offices in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
