We are looking to provide a great opportunity for the right candidate who is eager to grow in their Sales/Operations Management career.

About the Role:

The Sales/Operations role is responsible for closely researching and learning the market/industry by working directly with both our Sales and Operations Teams to tackle tasks such as resolving customer issues, assisting in inventory planning, and increasing overall business. This position is full-time, Monday – Friday, and wages start $55,000/annually – based on experience. Commission may be negotiated as the position evolves. We are seeking an individual who preferably has a background in the transportation/logistics industry.

Responsibilities & Functions:

  • Acknowledge, enter, and send confirmations for customer orders; ship out and local.
  • Research market territory/industry for added and new accounts to increase business and account base.
  • Establishes and develops long-term business relationship with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and profit.
  • Interacts with other departments to resolve customer service issues or requests.
  • Keeps Sales Team and Operations aware of changes in the market, customers, and potential opportunities.
  • Assists in the inventory planning function by providing accurate and timely input on sales trends.
  • Research requested parts for availability in order to fulfill sales orders in a timely manner as per the customer requirement.
  • Provide input to the Operations Team for inventory planning of the location – ensuring availability of product while assisting to realize supply efficiencies.
  • Coordinate product deliveries to customers with the warehouse personnel on a daily basis.
  • Support Sales Team and Operations by serving all customer accounts if and when the situation demands.
  • Back up the Outside Sales Team during the limited availability (PTO as an example, making limited local Sales calls).
  • Learn all segments of the business, including our internal operating system as well as the customer service side of our business.
