Sunoco LP is the largest wholesale fuel supplier in the U.S., supplying fuel to over 8,000 locations in North America.

The Sales Specialist will be a key member of the business development team. This position requires a driven individual with a strong business acumen, excellent communication and relationship skills and a passion for success.

  • Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly production and distribution of key performance metrics and dashboards for team. Support process for ensuring monthly forecasts for EBITDA and capital expenditures are accurate. Coordinate and support team members on updates to data.
  • Regularly analyze data on closed-lost opportunities logged in Salesforce. Identify key themes and opportunities to present to senior management and other internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor compliance to Salesforce processes for business development team. Produce and analyze reports to ensure process adherence. Identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
  • Provide Salesforce support for larger opportunities and acquisitions to ensure timely and accurate management through process, allowing for the prompt realization of EBITDA.
  • Provide oversight, planning, and support for events related to acquiring new business, including Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), Minor League Cricket, hospitality suites, and other affiliate marketing efforts. Lead coordination of customer invitations, tickets, communication, and attendance while ensure key internal stakeholders are aware and supporting. Provide logistical support and coordination with venues to ensure proper set-up and food & beverage. Provide event recaps, detailing customer attendance, costs, lead capture, etc.
  • Support trade show and conference planning including customer registration, sponsorships, attendance, lead tracking, etc. Develop and roll-out a tool kit for trade show attendance, including best practices for pre-engagement with attendees, on-site meetings, post-event follow-up, etc. Track trade show costs, leads acquired, meetings held, and attendees to compute overall return on investment. Make recommendations on future attendance based off analysis.
  • Coordinate customer visits and scheduling with senior leadership in team.
  • Assist with invoicing as needed.
  • Provide support for special projects as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, operations, or related field
  • Self motivated individual with a high personal standard of excellence who can work independently to drive results
  • Detail oriented and meticulous about data accuracy across multiple systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining organization and timely completion of projects
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Comfortable interacting with individuals across different departments and at various levels within the organization
  • Advanced experience with Excel
