The objective of the Trainee Rotational Development Program is to provide the necessary tools, resources, and experiences to recent graduates in developing the appropriate skill set and self-confidence to become the future leaders of the Company.

This is rotational development trainee program is a cross-functional intensive program designed to educate, train and develop the skill set of our future sales and operations leaders to ensure their success in establishing careers at Sunbelt Supply. You will get hands on experience through on-the-job training, subject matter experts, and sales and operations leadership. This internship will rotate into the following departments:

• 
  Operations/Warehouse
• Sales Support Associate
• Expeditor
• Inside Sales
• Outside Sales

Summary of Responsibilities

The role of the Trainee will be to provide support and partner with the teams from operations, supply chain, and sales to identify business needs and solutions in driving the overall business strategy of the company. They will develop and implement critical business solutions through information gathering, synthesis, and review. They will secure and allocate resources, manage implementation schedules, and facilitate meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to analyze data, communicate with non-financial and non-technical customers and develop recommendations for solving problems while exhibiting realistic understanding of issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be able to extract and manipulate large data sets, is a plus
• High degree of confidentiality and discretion
• Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
• Strong work ethic

Warehouse Associate

• Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods.
• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials, such as lumber, boards, or pallets
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Sales Support Associate

• Provides documentation required by customer
• Maintains strong working relationships with customers
• Resolves customer service issues.
• Tracks open sales orders

Expeditor

• Reviews new orders and vendor purchase orders for entry errors
• Managing multiple orders in an effective and organized manner
• Ensures timely shipment of product, required documents, and overall customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Training/Experience:

• Diploma or GED required. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility. BS/BA is preferred
• Advanced Power user in Excel and PowerPoint, is a plus
• Experience in oil and gas industry, is a plus

Problem Complexity:

• Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data

Autonomy:

• Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment. Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior co-worker and/or supervisor.
