In this exciting new role, the Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing, configuring, and supporting solutions within the Salesforce platform. The Salesforce Administrator will partner with Meriplex commercial, sales enablement, IT and corporate stakeholders to build and support solutions, content, tools and processes that deliver executive facing solutions.

  • Plan, develop, and configure new functionality to support existing Meriplex Salesforce ongoing adoption Salesforce. This may include updating or creating objects, fields and field values, page layouts, actions, process builder, custom reports, dashboards, user roles & profiles, data sets, and more.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the overall Meriplex Salesforce application architecture, release processes, Meriplex data models and sources, and integrated applications.
  • Monitor user support requests & escalations and respond in a timely manner.
  • Maintain CRM database for integrity and accuracy including cleansing and duplicate record management, performing weekly and monthly data loads, updating role hierarchy, account assignments, etc.
  • Monitor Salesforce annual releases, install routine updates and identify/communicate any areas of concern or interest.
  • Participate in design/architecture reviews to ensure that changes to the system are consistent with sales team expectations and limit undesired impacts.
  • Lead the effort to test new functionality in each release to ensure that compatibility with current business processes is maintained.
  • Provide training and on-boarding to new users, as needed.
  • Perform routine monitoring of platform such as running adoption reports and dashboards, generating user license counts, activating & deactivating user records, etc.
  • Build Reports and dashboards within CRM and Excel. Build ad-hoc reporting requests. Maintain reports to ensure efforts are not duplicated and report variations do not grow unnecessarily.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Let’s work together to succeed together! A minimum 3 years of Salesforce experience with a track record of developing solutions within a complex matrix organization.

Some experience in the following areas will serve you greatly in this role:

  • Advanced understanding of databases and how to extract/analyze data using Excel and MS Access
  • Additional experience with Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) solutions, Visualforce pages, PowerBI, and SAP ERP systems is preferred
  • Ability to develop custom sales and marketing analytics
  • SQL skills
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas across functions and levels of the organization
  • Adept at handling multiple tasks and projects with competing deadlines; ability to adapt shifting priorities
  • Ability to identify areas for process improvement and recommend/implement solutions
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude; technologically savvy with good people skills
  • Proven creativity and problem-solving skills; ability to work around obstacles and solve problems with minimal direction
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with sales and business users and executive management
  • Strong organizational/time management skills; ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible with a demonstrated ability to embrace change

Work Schedule/Travel - Standard Meriplex business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00. Post COVID there is an expectation that this role will be heavily customer interfacing and could be traveling as much as 30-50%. Currently domestic travel only. Candidates should be comfortable in a traveling environment and will be 100% in office for the first 90 days of employment.
