POSITION SUMMARY:

The Salesforce Project Manager will lead and work with key stakeholders to implement solutions leveraging the Salesforce.com platform including the integration with the corporate ERP system. The role is responsible for executing on deliverables, managing, and running large and small projects, ensuring timely closeout of requirements and projects, providing timely status updates to the stakeholders, and working closely with various technical and non-technical team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

CRM Project Management

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement a CRM strategy and roadmap.
  • Understand business requirements, mitigate risks, and create business cases to recommend strategies and solutions across the Salesforce platform to achieve business results.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce and consultants to lead and manage the project to configure, deploy and migrate to Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud including data normalization, de-duplication, clean up and integration with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • Lead the execution of small and large projects leveraging the Salesforce platform.
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize information on project phases, tasks, and timelines; communicate all project updates and changes to the internal team and consultants in a timely manner.
  • Create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Set and manage best practices with Salesforce objects, data management, security, and compliance.
  • Work with departmental stakeholders to take existing manual processes and identify ways to mitigate risk and overhead through automation in Salesforce.
  • Provide strong documentation and training and support for stakeholders on Salesforce implementations and changes.
  • Write documentation, validation rules, workflows, process building, and other Salesforce related jobs and tasks that have dependencies on user interaction, while improving user experience of the platform.
  • Organize best practice trainings for end users to increase adoption of the platform.
  • Understand how the current Salesforce system and services can be used to drive future developments and improvements.

Senior Salesforce Technical Administration and Development

  • Provide routine user support including but not limited to profile changes, permission sets, password management, Lightning App Builder and Manager.
  • Provide support for users including user account maintenance, report, dashboards, workflow, and process builder development.
  • Become an expert resource on the organization’s data structure in Salesforce.
  • Maintain a holistic view of processes and users in the system to understand CRM cross-functional and inter-departmental impacts regarding configuration, workflow, and reporting.
  • Develop Apex classes and triggers, Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce to support business requirements.
  • Application development, including basic Visualforce pages and Lightning pages, and Web Components.
  • Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code,
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS Degree in Management Information Systems or Business Management within Information Systems.
  • 3+ years’ experience with Salesforce as a Business Analyst, Salesforce Consultant ideally in Service, Sales, and/or Marketing and/or Manufacturing clouds.
  • Project management experience leading cross functional teams on large and small projects
  • Ability to leverage analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment to deliver solutions that meet end-user and stakeholder needs.
  • Experience with Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce.
  • Understanding of Salesforce data, data structures and objects.
  • Experience or familiarity with Duet 360 and Tableau.
  • Ability to understand and learn the current implementation of Salesforce and take ownership of business processes and future development plans.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
