ARTISAN HAIR is a LUXURY HAIR SALON located in west Cary, near the Hwy 55/540 interchange, just minutes from Research Triangle Park, and adjacent to a new WHOLE FOODS grocery store.

We are looking for an upbeat, professional, customer-service focused FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST / SALON COORDINATOR to join our busy and growing hair salon team!

This is perfect opportunity for someone in school !

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Attend to client appointments - check-in and check-out
• Schedule client appointments
• Make appointment reminder phone calls
• Answer multi-line phone system
• Collect payment for client services and retail product sales
• Perform opening, closing, and/or shift-change procedures for front desk and register
• Respond to client emails

Hours available include:

• Part time hours (Approximately 20-25 hours per week)
• Ideally available to work: Tuesday through Friday afternoons and evenings (no later than 8:30PM); and Saturday daytime shift (9AM to 4PM).

Ideal candidates will have experience:

• Working in hair salon, spa, or hotel as a Front Desk Receptionist / Coordinator
• Navigating appointment scheduling software - such as Rosy, Millinneum, or similar
• Handling cash and credit card transactions
• Working with high-end clientele
• Answering a multi-line phone system.
