Navy Island is a family run manufacturer of acoustic and architectural wood products. Over the course of 30+ years in the industry, we’ve grown to a three-building campus with approximately 140,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing floor space in West Saint Paul, Minnesota.

ROLE

• Accurately cut wood products with a Schelling panel saw or Weeke CNC
• Assist operations in moving product through each station
• Keep workstations clean and organized
• Keep all information confidential and perform any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience working in a production setting
• Blueprint match understanding required
• Management experience preferred
• Woodworking experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate basic mathematical skills to include fractions and decimals
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

JOB TYPE

Full-time.

Monday – Friday, 2nd shift (3 PM - 12 AM). Potential opportunity for overtime on Saturdays.

WORK LOCATION

One location, often moving between adjacent buildings in the same location.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Ability to handle exposure to all temperature changes, dusty atmosphere, high noise levels, and safely working around moving equipment. Majority of work to be performed in-doors. Occasional lifting up to 50lbs.

PAY
$20 - 24 per hour, based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
