We are currently seeking a SECRET CLEARED SSCM Engineer to work hybrid (remote and on site at Ft. Meade. We are targeting candidates with the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure hardware and software problems for multi-user computer platforms.

• Develop, test, maintain, standardize application deployment and security updates deployment to all workstations and servers on a task order

• Fulfill requests for creation and deployment of desktop software packages and manage scheduled software patching and updates

• Patch, application development, and as required architect and design • Leverage SCCM to provide security updates, cumulative rollups, hotfixes, and other updates as necessary to workstations and servers

• Maintain existing packages and add new packages as required

• Create and administer advertisements, programs, collections, and custom reports

• Troubleshoot failed SCCM deployments and SCCM health issues

• Troubleshoot unhealthy SCCM clients

• Leverage Group Policy and Active directory to modify installation package behavior, create and edit scripts in PowerShell, restrict features, and improve security

• Deploy security updates/configurations, supporting Windows desktop and server images, and day to day support for the enterprise

• Work with systems engineers on security updates, vulnerability patches, hotfixes and other updates or scripts to provide workarounds of fixes to user workstations and servers as required

• Develop and produce documentation, SOPs, reports, and presentation slide decks

• Participate in development of satisfactory backup and restore practices as well as disaster recovery planning and testing.

• Guide in establishing processes and procedures that improve efficiency and support compliance with federal and regulatory requirements.

• Possess a detailed knowledge of various technologies and demonstrate the ability to leverage and appropriately integrate those technologies within the current environment.

• Balance technology integration alternatives and recommend action with consideration to both technical efficiency and effectiveness.

• Communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
