Summary
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling appointments for all office providers, verifying patient information, and completing the required registration of patients. Scheduling Coordinators also work closely with other staff to ensure effective communication and a positive patient experience.

Job Responsibilities
- Schedule medical appointments and procedures for patients with appropriate provider and time/location, utilizing appropriate scheduling codes.
- Monitor and evaluate provider schedules.
- Follow scheduling procedures and messaging protocol to achieve positive patient experience.
- Utilize scheduling system and Microsoft Office tools to assist patients.
- Collecting outstanding balances and copays.
- Providing patients with support and guidance as needed.
- Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent certificate
- Prior experience with medical terminology is a plus
- Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians
- Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards
