Odyssey Charter School, Inc., is a network of tuition-free public charter schools serving 2,000 VPK and Kindergarten through 12th Grade students on two campuses in Brevard County, Florida. We are now accepting applications for Elementary (K-5) and Jr/Sr High (6-12 all subjects) Teachers at Odyssey Charter School and Odyssey Preparatory Academy located in the City of Palm Bay, Florida.

Our tuition-free, public charter schools, first founded in 1999, promote strong ties to the community and offer a holistic education model that is both rigorous and relevant. The schools outperform all traditional public schools in the City of Palm Bay and are a fully accredited system through COGNIA (formerly AdvancEd). State and national leaders in "green" and healthy holistic schools, the school have won numerous awards from the USDOE and FLDOE for health and wellness.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, or higher, and a valid FLDOE teaching certificate in the subject area of the position available, or the eligibility to acquire FLDOE certification in the State of Florida. On site certification support is provided for all teachers new to Odyssey. Montessori Certification is a plus, but not required.

Golf at one of our various country clubs or shop at Melbourne’s historic downtown shopping district and farmers market. Attend a play at the historic Cocoa Village playhouse and enjoy fine dining or take a Space Coast River tour out of Merritt Island to get an upfront look at our dolphins. Cruise the Caribbean as you embark from nearby Port Canaveral or take a nightly casino cruise out into the Atlantic.
