The Ellsworth Community School District is seeking a full-time (approx. 200-day contract) School Psychologist beginning at the start of the 2023 school year. Contract begins late August through eary June. This person would be joining an exceptional Special Education and Pupil Services team. This School Psychologist would be a part of a school district that has made a substantial commitment to meeting the mental health needs of students through partnerships with licensed therapists, an in-district program for 3rd - 8th-grade students with significant mental health needs, graduate student mental health interns and a district-wide mental health coordinator. Grade level assignment and schedule is flexible.

This position requires essential functions related to the following areas:

*Data-Based Decision Making and Accountability including providing leadership in special education procedures and programs.
*Consultation and Collaboration including strong skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the general education and special education staff.
*Mental Health Services to Develop Social and Life Skills
*Preventive and Responsive Services including providing assistance to administrators and staff in the development of crisis preparedness plans and student crisis response
*Assessment and Intervention using an RtI framework including conducting functional behavioral assessments and developing and implementing behavioral intervention plans.
*Excellent communication skills including working effectively with educational personnel, parents, and community agencies.
*Experience or training in assessing and monitoring student progress and facilitating IEP and student assistance team meetings.

Applicant must hold or be eligible for licensure as WI Department of Public Instruction School Psychologist - PK-12 #7062. Candidates that need to complete their internship are welcome to apply.
