Job Title: School Psychometrist
Location: Birmingham, Alabama
ProCare Therapy has partnered with a school district in Alabama that is seeking a skilled and dedicated School Psychometrist to join the team in Birmingham. As a School Psychometrist, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic and personal success of students by administering and interpreting a variety of psychological assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Administering and interpreting psychological assessments to students to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas of need
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective educational plans for students
- Conducting observations and evaluations to support the development of interventions and behavior plans
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records of assessments and evaluations
- Providing guidance and support to teachers and staff in implementing strategies to support students academic and emotional needs
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in psychology or related field
- Certified as a School Psychometrist in the state of Alabama
- Experience administering and interpreting psychological assessments to students
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
