Divein.com is looking for a Scuba Diving Writer/Editor to join our team of divers and outdoor enthusiasts.

We test and review dive gear, create how-to guides, and do in-depth destination reviews.

The ideal candidate will need to have a sharp eye for detail, a critical mind, and excellent writing skills.

You need to:

• Be an experienced Scuba Diver
• Have an interest in Scuba gear
• Be able to critically assess products you’ll be testing on a technical scale
• Be someone who demonstrates an above-average command of written English
• Have experience/interest in doing editorial quality video and images of dive gear
• Be comfortable creating digital communication solutions

Maybe you’re a journalist or have worked in marketing. Maybe you’re an English lit graduate with an affinity for the wilderness or the ocean.

We love the activities which we create content about and so should you.

Your duties will take you beyond the computer screen, demanding you take the gear underwater and take some pictures and video of you out testing the gear.

Multi-tasking and mental agility are traits that will serve you well at Divein as our business model is developing in this dynamic industry.

Responsibilities:

• Research and write articles on Scuba related topics
• Create in-depth guides that will help our readers
• Take gear out for testing from time to time.
• Create editorial quality images and videos of the products you’re testing

Qualifications:

• Professional/Experienced Scuba Diver
• Interest and knowledge about Scuba Gear
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Proven ability to work independently and juggle daily, medium and long-range deadlines
• Self-managing and able to collaborate effectively within a creative team of writers and designers
• A sense of humor
• An interest in an active lifestyle
