Essential Responsibilities:

We need seasonal employees to help with loading, unloading, and transportation of agronomy and grain product to and from customers and/or to and from other ALCIVIA locations.

• Delivers liquid and dry plan food to customers during the spring/summer season using a quad axle truck, sometimes a tri axle.
• Assist with mixing, loading, and spreading of liquid/dry fertilizer and chemical products including by not limited to Anhydrous Ammonia.
• Assist with train loads going out and coming into ALCIVIA grain facilities.
• Assist with monitoring and maintaining grain quality. Assist with the operations of the scale to weigh products.
• Conduct and help manage inventory.
• Sweep and clean out grain bins.
• Ability to operate single or double axel trucks, forklifts, scale operations, augers and front-end loaders and application equipment.
• Assisting in general housekeeping of ALCVIVIA facilities to keep dirt and debris at a minimum.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and vehicles as needed to keep equipment in proper working order.
• Consults with Site Manager about scheduled work and work assignments.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, etc.
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
• All other duties assigned based on business need.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Require 3 months experience.
• Must be able to climb to heights of up to 200 feet.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must have a CDL or appropriate driver’s license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• Employer will conduct post-hire and random drug testing at employer’s expense to enforce a drug free workplace policy.
  • Failing a drug test will result in termination.
• Job requires extensive sitting or walking depending on the job and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures.
• Must be proficient in English.
• Employer may deduct for willful destruction of property.
