This position exists to provide for the protection and safety of all persons, assets and property on the organizational campus. This position actively engages in the prevention and detection of criminal activity and any activity adverse to the health care environment. This position is responsible for investigating incidents and enforcing all operating policies and procedures of the organization.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Valid Driver’s License Required
  • Non Violent Crisis Intervention / CPI Certification within 3 months of hire
  • CPR Certification within 3 months of hire

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year’ experience in law enforcement, security, or correctional officer preferred. Military experience in a related field can be used to meet this requirement. Healthcare experience preferred

General Responsibilities:

  • Meet all requirements for competencies in the department. Have completed all reports and daily log as well as all required documentation both internally and externally. Able to do access control changes in the badging system and add and delete badges. Knowledgeable of the Infant abduction system and able to do weekly PM on the system.

Experience
