Senior Administrator - Anchorage (Job ID USA0002MH)

SUMMARY: The Senior Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support services under supervision to the Safety, Facilities, and Compliance team.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Administrator provides administrative support functions relating to health, safety, security, compliance, infrastructure projects, environmental data and reporting in conjunction with other team members. Responsibilities include the administration and maintenance of learning management system and department SharePoint sites to ensure organization, functionality, access, documentation, and data. Work extensively with Microsoft applications and learning management systems to edit and populate documents and records. Assist in revision, and/or quality review and proper formatting of management system and operational manuals prior to distribution to the terminal and vessel personnel. Update and maintain document control process, perform edits, review and publish documents. Coordinate training with vendors and employees. Maintain training matrix, learning management system, and documents. Assist/track new employees with onboarding documentation and driver qualification requirements from start to finish.

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education post-HS is a plus.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an administrative support function.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word. Excellent computer skills are required along with strong analytical skills, and ability to manage LMS (Learning Management Systems), internal and external databases as well as excellent data entry accuracy.

COMPETENCIES: The Senior Administrator must be ableto communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external business partners. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. Ability to perform in a detail-oriented environment. Ability to compile, review and reconcile data accuracy, completeness and compliance. Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills. Skill in preparing clear and concise documents, including but not limited to reports, procedures, correspondences and other written materials. Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
