Motion Picture Industry Pension & Health Plans (MPI) is searching for an Analyst / Developer to develop, support and maintain Website products including online electronic forms and integrations. The position requires a high level of software development expertise and experience to ensure accuracy, security and stability throughout the development and implementation lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, abilities, and experiences, which include but is not limited to:

  • 3 years of experience in software analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance
  • Highly proficient with WCF web service architecture, Web Based U1 development (wireframes,U1 prototyping, etc.)
  • Experience with AngularJS and Xamarin with 3+ years' experience in Website design and development.
  • Expert knowledge of .NET Framework (3.5 or higher) ASP.Net, MVC. C#, ADO.NET.
  • Experience in client-side scripting using HTML5
  • Experience developing, testing, and maintaining RESTful APIs for integration platforms such as Dell Boomi, Informatica, MuleSoft, or Snap Logic,
  • Experience preparing interface design documentation, use case document analysis, architectural documentation, and unit test case documentation.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps Server and 1release management (promoting code and building release packages, CICD)
  • High level of experience building and supporting SSIS and SSRS packages
  • Experience in the Object-Oriented aspects of the language such as class creation, interface, implementation, etc.
  • Highly proficient with SQL programming language. Experience with MS SQL Database technologies (2016, 2017, 2019) and MS Backoffice products preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Excellent understanding of SDLC processes and requirements
  • Experience in deploying full life-cycle enterprise-wide solutions
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), problem solving and analytical skills
  • Expert at troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent attendance and reliability, with the ability to work overtime/extended hours as required.
  • Ability to accept direction and developmental guidance from supervisors

Responsibilities:

  • Providing daily operation and production support for website application and interfaces
  • Works with the business and project teams to devise technical alternatives
  • Develops application/enhancement support documents (Business requirements/Technical Design documents/Test Cases/Change Management)
  • Designs, develops and implements moderate to highly complex web-based solutions in a multi-tiered architecture
  • Contributes to database design and development activities
  • Integrates applications with system software infrastructure
  • Responsible for testing and implementation of software changes
  • Partners with project team members and other stakeholders to solve problems and deliver effective results
  • Follows the change control management process
  • Participates in design reviews with other members and groups within the department
  • Supports user experience design and information architecture for web applications
  • Keeps abreast of current internet technology and development tools related to area of expertise
  • Participates on enterprise architecture teams to help create technical standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology or related field preferred; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in developing enterprise-level services/solutions.
  • Experience in AngularJs, Xamarin, C#, .NET Framework, WCF, MVC and ASP.NET
  • Experience with ADS/TFS release management
  • Experience in Control-M
  • Knowledge and experience in IT processes necessary for analyzing, designing, and developing highly complex enterprise services.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write concise and accurate technical documentation.
  • Experience with SDLC Methodologies
  • Experience working with functional and technical project artifacts (Requirements Definitions, Process Definitions, User Interface Design, Technical Interface Specifications, Test Scripts etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to design solutions that are scalable, usable and have acceptable performance
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft development and application technologies

The anticipated base salary for this position is $90,000- $120,000 annually. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, fax machines, and filling cabinets.
