Who You Are and What You'll Do:
As part of the Global Dove team, the Senior Brand Manager (Innovation & Engagement) for Dove Hair in the US will be leading development of innovation mixes and disruptive, purposeful communication campaigns to drive the brand’s growth. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for purpose-driven marketers, passionate about beauty, creativity, and crafting.
  • Developing and deploying insight-driven brand innovation strategy for the US to drive short- and long-term growth in the 12-quarter plan
  • Lead end-to-end innovation projects focused on US: locally relevant insights, mix and communication development. Roll-out relevant mixes to Canada.
  • Create best-in-class Brand Engagement Assets related to projects in scope (depending on communication model: TV, digital, PR, influencers)
  • Lead US cross-functional teams of R&D, CTI, Supply Chain, CMI, Finance and Legal to ensure OTIF launches.
  • Manage 1-2 direct reports (Associate Brand Managers)
  • Work with Performance team to prepare customer-facing trade stories for the brand, identify & secure D4R launch opportunities.
  • Own Dove hair US Innovation budget, including allocating budget between Dove hair initiatives, selecting relevant agency partners and activities.
  • You’ll report to Dove Hair Brand Director Innovation & Engagement North America
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • 7+ years of previous experience with Brand Communication and Innovation development. Experience working with beauty brands is a plus
  • Proven experience in communication development, spotting resonating insights and ability to translate these insights into best-in-class multi-channel engagement experiences.
  • A well-informed Beauty “gut” coupled with an eye for aesthetic, design and attention for details, with focus on delivering premium, high-quality execution across all aspects of product mix
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams of R&D, Supply Chain, CMI and Legal, as well as agency-partners
  • Deep Knowledge of US market, including understanding of retail landscape, customer dynamics, media landscape and how to win in the marketplace.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $135,600 to $203,300. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
