Your Future Team

The Capital Markets team is made up of service-oriented individuals. The team supports the Capital Market needs of all of Hightower's advisor teams and provides support to our trading entities. You will report to the Executive Director, FI Trading.

What You'll Do

The Fixed Income Trading Liaison supports at an expert level the fixed-income trading needs of all of HT's Advisors and is the primary contact for our trading counterparties. You will function as a generalist and require knowledge in several fixed-income segments such as Municipals, Corporates, Agencies, Treasuries, MBS, and CDs, and knowledge of equity markets.

  • Serve as a Hightower brand ambassador by upholding The Hightower Way cultural elements – Mission, Purpose, V.A.L.U.E. Experience, Commitment and Standards, promoting excellence in the internal and external client experience during every encounter
  • Improve consistency in every client and colleague encounter by embodying the core principles of our Hightower V.A.L.U.E. Experience (Validate, Actively Listen, Leverage Resources, Understand Ownership, Express Gratitude)
  • Partner with cross-discipline team members to support collaboration and promote a positive client experience
  • Deliver outstanding client support to both internal and external clients, including phone and email interaction, transaction processing, trade execution, and system support
  • Complete trades as directed or approved by advisors
  • Identify trading strategies/investment opportunities and communicate those to clients
  • Develop knowledge of compliance requirements, desk policies, and trading standards
  • Build internal and external relationships, with investment group colleagues and sell-side counterparties
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Active FINRA Series 7 & 65 or 63 required
  • 3+ years experience in the brokerage/financial services industry
  • Fixed Income knowledge in Municipals, Corporates, Agencies, Treasuries, MBS, and CDs
  • Knowledge of the brokerage/financial services industry
  • Experience using vendor applications and market data services (Bloomberg, Factset, Excel, API)
