In this marketing leadership role, you will manage a team of regional marketing managers assigned to our Texas, West, and Central, Northeast, and Southeast markets. Each marketing manager supports 5-6 local markets.

As part of the VillageMD marketing leadership team, you will help lead the development and direct the team to execute on the local market marketing plans. You will develop scalable, data-driven marketing strategies and oversee execution at the individual market level to meet local business goals. You will help translate executive business goals and directives into actionable marketing plans, test and validate those corporate insights at the market level and communicate findings to leadership. You’ll also help outline national programming including messaging campaigns, national activations/partnerships and other opportunities that will allow local markets to tap into broader marketing program offerings.

How you can make a difference:

  • Train, coach, and lead a national team of field marketing managers executing on marketing plans at the local market level.
  • Meet or exceed our annual plan to grow patient demand for each market operations teams.
  • Define what field marketing needs from B2C growth marketing, marketing operations, and marketing performance management to ensure regional marketing support.
  • Ensure field marketing adheres to the new brand marketing standards and is aligned to overall marketing strategy and goals.
  • Ensure the overall marketing strategy can be effectively deployed regionally and market to market by enabling our local practice teams with campaign components, collateral, and guidelines.
  • Help marketing functions refine their strategy based on regional feedback.
  • Partner with regional and local market operations leadership on market level planning.
  • Set the standard to ensure effective collaboration across marketing and operations roles for regional campaign execution, and document those standards in a playbook.
  • Improve field marketing campaign efficiency in terms of ROI and direct correlation to patient growth.
  • Ensure key regions have agency/vendor support for translating and regionalizing national marketing content.
  • Manage field marketing budget and hiring and performance plan.
  • Be an advocate for the market business teams and help the rest of the marketing department understand their priorities.
  • Be an advocate for the marketing department and help the operational teams understand the marketing department's priorities.
  • Ensure field marketing contributes productively to the quarterly business reviews for the markets we support.
  • Provide oversight and strategic guidance for local marketing plans and execution (e.g., print ads, digital, broadcast, grassroots marketing, direct mail, etc.)
  • Help direct local markets to review the competitive market and analyze differentiators across individual markets to ensure local market messages account for market level opportunities.
  • Lead partnership and test and learn plans with key retail partner including Point of Sale signage, collateral, and monthly programming.
  • Lead key vendor relationships to ensure high-quality work of local market tactics e.g., production coordination, printing, fulfillment, proofreading, translations, etc.

Experience to drive change:

  • Experience delivering, accelerating, and expanding patient/customer growth through regional marketing
  • People management experience required
  • 10+ years of marketing experience required
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage direct marketing activities and build local market level plans based on business’s input and market level analysis
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute multichannel marketing approaches (traditional, digital) strongly preferred
  • Experience driving campaign testing plans (e.g., A/B, champion/challenger testing, etc.) at a local market level that helps inform broader strategies
  • Proven project management skills evidenced by the ability to effectively manage internal stakeholders, direct multiple vendors, and resources, meet deadlines and adhere to budgets

For Colorado Residents only: The target hiring compensation range for this role is $144,000.00 to $192,000.00. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
