Adventist HealthCare seek to hire an experienced Senior Learning Technology Specialist for our Learning and Professional Development team who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Senior Learning Technology Specialist you will:
  • Automate learning assignments for staff by role and entity utilizing AHC approved LMS. Keep documentation of assignments current. Create custom reports related to Learning.
  • Customer Service: Troubleshoot staff basic technical problems, troubleshoot module launching issues, navigation of LMS, using the IT ticketing system.
  • Validate the completion of learning assignments prior to a new hire receiving access to the Electronic Medical Record system.
  • Collaborate with peers at various entities for new projects or learning initiatives to determine and facilitate best learning practices, applying adult learning principles and using project management skills.
  • Design and provide reports within the LMS on training completion especially during a new Learning Initiatives (software implementation or update).
• Create the Learning assignment as a group of items for ease in completion. • Create instructor led training (ILT) course sessions for a mass roll out of any new Learning initiatives.
  • Provide Learning Management System (LMS) training and support to educators and clinical informatics staff.

Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred
Equivalent experience accepted
  • 6-8 years of education experience with adult learning principles
  • 5 years’ Experience with a learning management system required
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Project management experience required
  • Proficient in MS Office products especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with collaborative tools, especially Skype for Business
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday full-time
  • Functions at the system and entity level, participating in development of any new EMR or other required learning initiatives.
  • Under the supervision of Manager of Talent Technology and Enterprise Architect, works consultatively with clinical informatics teams; Education Directors; HR Business Partners to meet any Required Learning initiatives, including but not limited to: EMR Go-Live (software implementations or updates) and automate the educational future state; Required Learning; Condition of Employment Learning.
  • Provides customer service to Learning and Talent Technology customers.
