Sr. Manufacturing Process Engineer

Innovative medical device company continues to grow amid a pandemic is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to work in a senior capacity mentoring junior engineers.

The Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance and engineering support to the manufacturing group. Daily activities include optimization of processes and procedures, performing engineering studies on new products/processes, devising qualification and validation efforts, performing root cause analysis, equipment design, capital expense purchases, and hands on troubleshooting.

Requirements:

· Bachelor of Science degree in chemical, mechanical or related engineering discipline

*10+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, CAD (Solidworks preferred)

· Project management experience

· Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

· 10+ years’ experience in a polymer processing manufacturing environment with demonstrated troubleshooting and optimization ability

· Thermoset resin coating experience

· Thermoplastic extrusion experience

· Experience with analytical equipment such as FTIR, TGA, DSC, Rheometers, Viscometers

· Familiarity with statistical analysis software (Minitab)

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
