IT firm in Norwalk, CT serving 100+ businesses throughout Fairfield County in search of an experienced and quick-thinking systems engineer to join our team. Our clientele includes a wide range of businesses, from mid-size law offices and investment firms to single-owner small businesses. We stress understanding the technology to make you a better troubleshooter and adviser. You will deep-dive into issues – you will have help if needed but you will be able to develop your skills and knowledge by resolving on your own. We’re focused on security, and employ a variety of tools to keep our clients – and ourselves - ahead of the bad guys.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing day-to-day support to our clients

• Implementing client projects and deploying new technologies

• Developing new offerings, evaluating and refreshing existing ones

• Responding to security, backup, and other device alerts

A successful candidate should possess:

• A minimum of 5 years supporting IT platforms, ideally within another MSP.

• Superior troubleshooting/diagnostic skills - you should be able to quickly assess and resolve a situation, so as to minimize client inconvenience.

• Pleasant but focused demeanor - our clients rely on us for a superior level of service.

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Our engineers are responsible for managing their own queue and time, leaving no loose ends.

We work on a lot of tech in house – including PBX solutions, videoconferencing products, backup, security and file share. We like to develop and retain many skills in-house. You will get to evaluate and build solutions that our clients will love. Create tools and scripts that make your fellow techs lives easier. Refine documentation and manage projects. We don’t require extensive travel or weekend work, our client environments run smoothly and projects are well managed.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
