Definitive Logic is seeking a Senior PM to join our team.

Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Leads development teams to higher scrum maturity

• Coordinates project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, sprint and release planning demos, retrospectives, and other related scrum meetings
• Scrum Master duties include managing timelines, resolving problems, and coaching team members on Agile methodologies
• Ensures that the team follows Scrum principles, and oversees the entirety of a project, including logistics like budget and risk
• Coordinates across teams the status of work, issues, and risks
• Works to resolve blockers to progress
• Excellent executive presence and ability to communicate to senior leaders on the status of the project, issues, and resources needed
• Ability to anticipate program issues and blockers and prevent them from happening
• Reviews the performance of all resources assigned to the project
• Prepares cost and budget estimates to complete the project
• Manages subcontractor relationships
• Maintains DL internal PM processes and reporting

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in direct supervision managing in a Higher Education environment
• 5+ years of Agile development experience and implementing projects across commercial and public sector projects
• Salesforce Education Implementation Experience – successful implementations in higher education
• Agile Scrum Master Certifications
• Knowledge of DoD and federal IT policies
• Knowledge of PII and security issues involving student data
• Strong process and workflow knowledge and experience
• Ability to obtain a clearance

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (or international equivalent) is preferred
• Experience in Department of Defense higher education – e.g., West Point, US Naval Academy, Air Force Academy
• Experience in working in either academic or business support roles in a university of at least a size of 5,000 students
