Strategic Implementation is critical to our company’s success, addressing the who, where, when, and how of reaching the desired goals and objectives of our key internal and external strategic initiatives and partnership. Strategic Implementation is the central point for coordinating all these tasks and facilitates the processes so that strategy execution gets accomplished in an integrated fashion across the enterprise. It manages key strategic initiatives that cross unit and functional lines and retains responsibility for monitoring the progress and reporting on them to top management.

Under the leadership of the Strategic Implementation Manager, the Senior Program Specialist is responsible for providing implementation leadership in the planning, execution, and delivery of business-critical projects, programs and related business and technology activities utilizing project management best practices, methodologies and tools to achieve targeted business outcomes. The Senior Program Specialist works closely with a broad cross-functional teams and stakeholders both internal and external to define, manage, and deliver enterprise-wide key strategic projects to create value for the company, its customers, and its partners.

· planning and tracking project tasks and milestones

· proactively synthesizing disparate information to identify and communicate risks and issues in a timely manner

· working in a highly-matrixed environment with multiple partner organizations and project resources

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Acts as Consultant and works with internal and external stakeholders to clarify project goals and objectives, scope, expected outcomes and resource needs and translate to detailed actionable execution plans. This will include gathering and understanding the business requirements to support efficient and effective decision making on scope and associated investment.

Manages project scope and ensure project tasks/deliverables are completed according to specifications and on time; identifies and communicates issues to management and manager/director in a timely manner; proactively manages changes in scope through formal change control methods.

Proactively identifies project risks and works with stakeholders to mitigate risks, helping ensure achievement of business objectives and priorities.

Conducts regular project team meetings and produces timely project artifacts (i.e., project charter, project plan schedule, team action items, team risks/issues log, team status reporting, etc.)

Identifies and manages key project success criteria/metrics across departments to accurately report project performance

Documents work plans, deliverable tracking, status, and communications in an organized manner

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Field, Health Administration, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2 – 5 years of industry experience leading projects with internal and external stakeholders; managing external client relationships (e.g., sponsors, stakeholders, business partner, vendors, etc.)
  • Experience working with cross functional teams while handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated strong project/program management skills and leadership skills (strategic thinking, ability to drive business change, sharing of organizational goals, leading multidisciplinary groups).
  • Ability to break down complex problems into manageable goals

Pay: $88,000.00 - $116,000.00 per year
