The Role
We are seeking
Mission Driven software engineers to join our team supporting one of the world's most valuable customers. On this project you would be working on a team of 15 software engineers maintaining and developing new features of a large Java application that provides mission critical reporting to senior policymakers in the US Government.
Basic Qualifications
.
14 years experience developing large scale Java applications
AND a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
o An additional 4 years of software development experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active Top Secret with SCI and Full Polygraph clearance
- Strong Java skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to formulate and articulate an approach to solve problems
- Works well on a large team of developers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Telecommunications signal analysis
- Experience performing network traffic analysis using tools like Wireshark
- Experience modifying existing software to correct errors allowing software to adapt to new hardware or to improve software performance
- Experience identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement new options
- Experience developing Java multi-threaded applications.
- Experience with C/C++
- Ability to work effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals.
- Willingness and interest to travel as needed (including overseas) per the needs of the business
- (As required by U.S. Government contract) U.S. citizenship.
- (As required by U.S. Government contract) Varied clearance level TS/SCI with FSP.
