The LAD will work with project teams to develop and execute organizational change management plans to help end users adopt new solutions and address change concerns.

Must haves:

Conducts needs analysis to identify, define, and evaluate training and organizational change management needs of stakeholders.

Provides leadership, vision, and strategy for incorporating organizational change management strategies and processes into training plan.

Defines learning objectives and designs course assessments, curriculum, and training deliverables to meet all objectives.

Develop adoption metrics and other methods of measuring the success of training and communications.

Develops required training plans following established processes.

Coordinates planning activities to meet objectives and timelines of overall program or project. Forecasts required time and resources, provides status reports, and follows established methodology. Independently prioritizes the completion of tasks and resolution of issues to ensure compliance to project deliverables.

Studies and develops a comprehensive understanding of assigned systems. Works closely with co-workers, product teams, and business office subject matter experts to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the system, including system transactions and the business processes related to the system, and end-user experiences. Applies in-depth knowledge in all phases of training and communication development (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation).

Provides leadership, vision, and creativity for the development of all performance support materials for customers or IT staff in support of IT systems and services delivery.

Implements WCAG 2.1 strategies to eliminate accessibility barriers in order to increase success.

  • Design, Execution, Assessment, and Analysis
  • Develops, tests, implements, and presents training deliverables in multiple formats such as case scenarios, simulations, e-learning courses, and other related support documentation following established standards, including WCAG 2.1, and methodology.
  • Coordinates with vendors, customizing vendor training materials as appropriate
  • Schedules and delivers deployment training or arranges for SME to deliver.
  • Conducts effective communications with co-workers, teams, business offices, and subject matter experts with guidance from management and senior personnel.
  • Maintains all appropriate documentation, such as status reports, evaluations, metrics, and change logs.
  • Monitors individuals' performance throughout the training program through participation, evaluations, and deliverables, and escalates concerns to project team as needed.
  • Ensures training plan is fully executed and successfully implemented, including all training, presentations and content production.
  • Leads and implements continuous improvement plans for training and communication. Compiles training and performance support feedback, as needed.
  • Works with IT Service Managers post-deployment to provide resources and users with updates to functionality in service offerings. Training Leadership
  • Coordinates activities associated with the design, development, and implementation of training and communication plans, materials and delivery methods
  • Provides training, guidance and assistance to other Organizational Change Management staff to successfully accomplish objectives.

Experience applying concepts of organizational change management strategies and processes to projects Demonstrated expertise in instructional design methods (e.g. ADDIE, Merrill, Gagne, etc.) and adult learning theories. (Knowles, Kolb, Dewey, Kirkpatrick, etc.) Experience leading or supporting train-the-trainer initiatives Experience strategizing and planning training experiences for diverse audiences Understanding of WCAG 2.1 and implementation of guidelines for all training deliverables Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud applications Experience with web development, preferably WordPress Experience working at an advanced level with Microsoft Office applications Demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly and to understand technical information and communicate it to others using clear, concise, and user-friendly language.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and independent problem solving skills.

  • Demonstrated successful performance with giving presentations to both small and large audiences, and coordinating and completing multiple tasks within established and changing deadlines.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and expectations and is passionate about customer experience. Enthusiastic and committed to helping others and exhibits the ability to assess the specific needs of the customer to determine an appropriate course of action

Keywords:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology, Communications, or Education plus 4 years of experience analyzing business processes, applying instructional design methods and theories, developing training curricula and user documentation and needed communications; or equivalent combination of experience, certification, and education.
