Immediately Hiring a Senior Manager UX to advocate for the customers, associates, and enterprise users who use our products as well as the business. You’ll manage a team of UX designers to plan, design, and build digital products within 7-Eleven. You’ll partner with Product and Technology Leaders to define and drive high quality design deliverables across product design initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience across many design disciplines, is knowledgeable about the latest interaction and design standards, and has a passion for design quality.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide leadership for a team of UX Designers, inspire and mentor them, serve as a champion of their work, guide them, and elevate their efforts to the next level
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, product, and technical leaders to gain alignment and shared understanding of the product vision and key goals
  • Contribute to strategic decisions that shape the 7-Eleven customer, associate, and enterprise experience
  • Partner with key stakeholders, product, and technical leaders to gain alignment and shared understanding of the product around its vision and key goals
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and articulate risks, trade-offs, and recommend priorities based on balancing customer needs, business needs and technical constraints

Qualifications

  • 14+ years of experience in UX design and 5+ years managing or leading design teams
  • Creative problem solver who leans into collaboration to create delightful experiences
  • Portfolio of UX-focused work samples for responsive web and native mobile applications
  • Experience taking a product from inception to launch
  • Effectiveness managing multiple stakeholders and working across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize work streams with leadership expectations
  • Strong expertise of the user-centered design process, methods, principles, and skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile, Lean UX and Mobile First principles
  • Proficient in all areas of UX design including interaction design, information architecture, visual design, prototyping and user research
  • Solid proficiency in design, prototyping and collaboration tools including Figma and Miro
  • Degree will preferably be in HCI or Computer Science. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree
