PAY RANGE: $115,000 - $135,000 plus full benefits package

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

Under the supervision of the CEO, the Senior VP of Operations is responsible for managing all program-related operational activities for the organization. This includes Club, Licensed Care and outreach programs operations, with a primary concern for program development and implementation, staff and volunteer development, supervision of VP of Clubs, VP of Licensed Care, Athletic Director, Nutrition Director, Buildings and Grounds Manager, risk management, budget
management, and above all, safety. The Senior VP of Operations is responsible to organize people, projects, ideas, time and resources to keep the organization moving forward. This position requires innovation, attention to detail, ability to supervise staff in multiple locations and strong project-management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICIATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or a combination of education and directly relatable experience may be substituted on an individual basis
  • Five years work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning, project management and supervising staff based on the developmental needs of young people, with at least two in a significant supervisory capacity
  • Knowledge of the mission, priority outcomes, programs, and procedures of Boys & Girls Clubs and the principles and practices of non-profit organizations
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple and varied programs and multiple locations
  • Ability to recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff
  • Working knowledge of budget preparation, control, and management
  • Demonstrated ability working with community members, donors, parents, and young people
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and produce reports
  • Be enthusiastic for the mission and motivated to learn new skills on the job
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and to develop solutions to problems with limited supervision
  • Demonstrated ability of encouraging and supporting a culture that embraces a continuous program quality improvement cycle
  • Demonstrated understanding of Trauma-Informed Care Practices and Principles
  • Demonstrated understanding of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Practices and Principles, and an ability to articulate how current adopted policies of the organization are manifested through the position
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID 19
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Able to pass a local and national background check
  • Valid driver's license and meet the insurance requirements to operate Club vehicles

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree
  • Experience working with Vision Member Tracking System
  • Knowledge of WAC's governing licensed childcare
  • Experience with OSPI Food Programs
