Job Title: Senior Workday Adaptive Systems Analyst

Work Location: Remote

Project Duration : Full Time

SUMMARY:

The Senior Workday Adaptive Systems Analyst will partner with the Finance and Planning organizations at client to build world-class financial forecasting, planning, reporting and analysis capabilities. The person in this role will own the management, configuration/development, and operations support of systems such as Adaptive Insights. The candidate is accountable for full lifecycle development that entails the analysis, design and development of tool capabilities in addition to proactively identifying enhancement opportunities to the systems. Understand, interpret and transform business problems, opportunities and requirements while recommending solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

In this role, you will:

• Develop, build, deliver and maintain innovative and collaborative planning models on the Adaptive platform to support/automate existing processes, new goals and initiatives across all facets and functions of the business
• Partner with FP&A and cross-functional teams (GTM, Supply Chain) to develop roadmaps, identify needs, understand existing models (excel/ Adaptive), and translate them into efficiently built and enhanced Adaptive solutions
• Continuously identify gaps and opportunities for automation projects that will streamline workflows and processes
• Partner with business leaders to support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and analysis, driving efficiency improvements and cost savings
• Perform complex business and systems analysis work, deep root cause analysis and provide forward thinking, long term technical solutions; conduct requirements gathering/analysis
• Oversee data flows and development of integrations between our internal systems (Netsuite, SFDC, Workday) to Adaptive to ensure data is timely and accurate
• Prepare clear and concise presentations, providing recommendations to senior management and executives
• Formalize best practices in model building, document processes and provide coaching/training to end users
• Champion, role model, and embed clients’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

• 3+ years of experience implementing and maintaining Financial Planning system Workday Adaptive Insights, including model building, business rules configuration, data integration, and report and dashboard development
• 7+ years of industry or consulting experience, in particular SaaS
• 7+ years of experience implementing and maintaining financial systems (bonus points for cloud systems)
• Strong understand of financial planning processes and models
• Good understanding of full-cycle implementation of financial system and application support process
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter that thrives in a fast paced environment, customer focused and collaborative with stakeholders on various teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information System, Finance/Accounting or equivalent practical experience
