Server Assistant Job at Silverado Resort and Spa
Salary Range - This position pays Minimum Wage $15.50/hour plus tips. Provides efficient assistance to the server staff with high levels of guest service. Efficiently clear dishes, expedites food items, polishes glassware, and resets tables. Excellent guest relations and communication skills are needed. Must be available to work a flexible schedule and be able to lift and carry heavy equipment.
Essential Functions
Performs any necessary pre-shift sidework, as directed by supervisor.
Becomes thoroughly familiar with all specials offered.
Unloads trays in the dish machine area.
Resets all tables and notifies host person of all reset tables.
Keeps tables and service station clean, neat, and supplied at all times.
Assists server in cleaning spills.
Assists server(s) whenever and wherever possible throughout service.
Completes assigned sidework and any and all other duties assigned by management.
Responsible for complete bus station set-up, water, bread and Serves water and bread and butter to guests.
Removes dirty plates from guests’ tables between courses or as directed by server(s), using tray service.
