As a server, your responsibilities and duties will include the following:
- greeting customers and seating them in the order in which they arrive
- familiarizing customers with the menu and making appropriate suggestions when requested
- taking customer orders and relaying them accurately to relevant team members
- serving food and beverages
- properly cleaning and setting tables between use
- collecting payment from customers in a timely manner
- assisting in training new employees as required
- anticipating guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience
Qualifications and traits we are looking for:
- excellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed customer expectations
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- good attitude toward teamwork
- strong work ethic, with a willingness to take initiative
- confident, outgoing demeanor
- flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends
- ability to be mobile for a minimum of 4 hours, bend, stoop, and lift a moderate weight
- be of legal age to serve alcohol (18 in Frederick County, MD)
Pay: Hourly plus tips
