Bridges Bar & Grill in Valley City, ND is looking to hire a full-time Food Server to provide our guests with excellent customer service while serving them our delicious food and drinks. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD SERVER

As a Food Server, you help create a great experience for our customers as they dine. You also influence our sales and revenue! With your excellent customer service skills, you warmly greet customers upon their arrival to the restaurant and seat them at an available table. As needed, you provide information on menu items and make menu suggestions. You verify age requirements for customers ordering alcohol. You then transmit orders to the kitchen, continue to serve guests as they dine, and deal with complaints or issues as they arise.

You help keep our food service operations efficient, timely, and safe! In addition to assisting customers, you work with kitchen staff, pre-buss tables, process payments, and clean after guests leave. You close out shift paperwork by balancing credit card charges, cash receipts, and gratuities against point-of-sale reports. Our customers enjoy your enthusiastic and positive personality. Making sure we are in accordance with the policies and procedures set forth by restaurant management, you report any equipment in need of repair as well as work with the manager as needed. You also enjoy working in our fun atmosphere. Everyone has fun at Bridges!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FOOD SERVER

• Min age of 18, 21+ preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be on your feet most of your shift
• Ability to learn and understand all types of restaurant equipment
