Summary:

The primary responsibility of a RICC servers is to take food & beverage orders from members and their guests and ensure proper input into the POS system. Most importantly a server ensures that all members and guests receive proper, courteous, and efficient service. The server is a part of a team that ensures high member satisfaction.

• All availability is welcome

• Nights and weekends preferred

• Some holiday availability required

• Fresh air environment with outdoor dining

Qualifications:

• Must be TIPs and Barrington Liquor Certified by first day of training

• Understanding of basic sanitation laws

• Must be able to read and understand restaurant terminology and POS systems

• Able to memorize member’s names and their titles

• Serving experience preferred but not required

• Must be able to legally SERVE alcohol

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Greet and seat members upon arrival

· Water tables upon member arrival

· Gives menus and wine list to table upon arrival

· Takes food & beverage orders and inputs them into POS System

· Serves and clears table according to fine dining standards set by management

· Ensures member and guest satisfaction throughout the night

· Stays on the floor and is visible to members at all times

· Retrieves take-out orders and delivers them when members arrive

· Setup/Breakdown of member events

· Enters food & beverage into POS system with properly assigned member name

· Completes opening and closing side work as assigned by management

· Should fully master all busser/food runner responsibilities
