Server/Host Job at Wicked Cantina
We’re looking for motivated Servers, Host, and food expeditor to join our team. We need waitstaff with prior restaurant experience to provide excellent, timely service to our patrons. Our team members work short shifts (typically 5 hours), which allows you to schedule your shifts around obligations. In return, we ask you to arrive on time, always smile for our customers, and respond to guest inquiries promptly. To excel in this position, you need a high level of customer service skills and a willingness to meet guests’ needs quickly and politely.
Responsibilities:
- Take and process guests’ orders in a timely fashion
- Memorize drink and dessert menu for on-demand recitation
- Up-sell desserts and drinks as appropriate for individual guests and parties
- Manage large groups quickly and efficiently through attentive service and precise order taking
- Maintain a fine dining atmosphere and handle guest complaints/requests quickly
Requirements:
- 2+ years of restaurant experience
- Current student or recent graduate
- Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
- At least one positive reference from a previous employer (hospitality industry preferable)
- Comfort with Guest Center software a plus
- Neat, well-groomed appearance with no visible tattoos
- Ability to work well under intense time pressure
- Excellent emotional control in fast-paced environments
- Dedication to on-time arrival for shifts
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $50.00 per hour
