Service Advisor Job at Carolina International Trucks
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fulfill customer satisfaction expectations, using professional communication throughout service process.
- Ensures all customers are greeted promptly and professionally.
- Schedules service appointments obtaining customer and vehicle data.
- Writes up customer’s vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
- Ensures repair orders are completed accurately and promptly.
- Creates estimates.
- Manages work assignments to technicians.
- Emails and calls customers with updates.
- Closes out work orders and takes payments from customers.
- Maintains safe work environment.
- Works well with all CIT teams and departments.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Experience and Skills:
- At least 2 years’ Service Advisor experience in a medium-heavy duty truck environment.
- Previous billing experience and Dealer Management Software is preferred.
- Strong computer and organizational skills.
- Candidate should be a team player with strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and can multi-task in a face paced environment.
