Job Title: Service Sales Representative

Job Summary: R&R Mechanical’s rapidly growing Service Division is currently seeking a dynamic & driven professional to join our team as our new Service Sales Rep to help us continue growing our HVAC Service & Project customer base in the DC Metro area.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the leader of the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify prospective customers, new sales lead generation and conversion.
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs.
  • Analyze customer needs and develop appropriate service package to meet the customer requirements.
  • Prospect, present and close HVAC service agreement sales and projects.
  • Apply technical knowledge and experience to create project specifications and tailor proposals to match the building specifications to provide best value to the customer.
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements.
  • Maintain various databases and customer lists to generate additional opportunities with current and prospective customers.
  • Follow up frequently on all existing sales bids and leads.
  • Establish customer loyalty by providing the highest level of customer service to all account members such as owners, contractors, and other customer contacts.
  • Assist HVAC technicians by contacting customers, providing quotes about the recommended service, and writing proposals and contracts.
  • Continue to develop technical skills through ongoing training and education.
  • Actively participate in professional and networking organizations in order to grow industry connections.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of sales experience and knowledge in the HVAC industry, preferably in the DC Metro area.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect to customers at all levels, both on a technical and business basis.
  • Customer presentation experience.
  • Reliable and self-motivated.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong written, verbal and computer skills (Word, Excel, CRM).
  • Valid driver’s license.
