How do you fit in?

• Our Shift Manager directs and coordinates the activities of a production shift in processing manufacturing products.
• Ensures daily production schedule, goals and expectations are communicated to employees. Collaborates with all departments to ensure optimum machine output.

Planning for recovery and resolving production deficiencies. Ensures all production is manufactured in accordance with company, customer specifications and quality standards. Ensures all associates adhere to company policies, standards of conduct and safety principles. Conducts evaluations and performance reviews of assigned personnel including: development, improvement plans and disciplinary procedures. Implements and monitors the overall effectiveness of training programs and procedure updates to determine effectiveness in meeting employee development and company objectives. Reviews standard operating procedures and audits processes to ensure compliance with: food safety, quality and company’s formal policies and procedures. Inspects machines, equipment and work environment to ensure specific operational performance, optimum utilization and employee safety.
Reviews completed work orders for accuracy and ensures all production is properly accounted for. Completes daily production reporting in IQMS. Reports deficiencies in daily production goals and outlines detailed events causing shortages in production.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the office work environment is usually quiet unless on the production floor which is usually loud.Airlite Plastics requires a pre-empployment background check and drug screen
