JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for keeping the warehouse organized, materials/products accounted for, and assuring materials/products are delivered promptly. The shipping & receiving associate is dependable, highly organized, keeps accurate records, ensures incoming/outgoing materials/products are correct, while maintaining organized paperwork that's completed in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Load and unload all shipments
• Verify all information on Bill of Ladings is correct prior to loading as well as verify packing slips prior to receiving
• Band and wrap shipments
• Move parts and merchandise in the plant as required
• Maintain packing supply areas in an organized manner
• Organize and assist at off-site Warehouse as needed
• Checking in and delivery of UPS and FedEx Packages
• Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with forklifts is a plus (training and certification is available)
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to work independently
• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division are required
• Ability to read and understand Bill of Ladings
• Ability to work overtime, sometimes on a short notice
